Assist The Officer is a non-profit organization providing short-term, immediate need financial assistance for officers critically injured or disabled in the line of duty. Assist The Officer symbolizes the appreciation for every officer’s dedicated service and commitment to the safety of citizens.
The South Gessner Division is asking for your support. Two of our blue family members need your help. Officer Tyler was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2015 and has undergone 3 surgeries. She is recovering, but she expected to be on a five year treatment plan. Officer Davis suffered a stroke in April 2015 and spent 12 weeks in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. He is still in therapy and unable to return to active duty. Please consider supporting, even if you cannot attend.

Officer O'Brien passed away unexpectedly at the age of 40 on December 23, 2015. He leaves behind his elderly parents Seldon and Eunice O'Brien, of whom he was the primary caretaker, sister Jennifer O'Brien, and his beloved dog Zoey. Please help support his family in this time of need by buying a BBQ plate. Monetary donation will also be graciously accepted.
